Who are we and what is the 20% difference? In late 2006, Adam Holms, Holms Enterprises, Inc. came up with an interesting concept. Why not donate 20% of the gross from MerchantAccount.org to charitable organizations here in the United States? The idea itself was received very well, but it wasn't until late winter 2009 that it began to take form. Even though MerchantAccount.org already guaranteed the lowest overall processing costs, how would it be possible to give 20% of the gross to charities? The answer was simple and its time had come. It was time to set an example to the rest of the banking community that the era of greed was over and that there was plenty of profit to be shared. With a prompt response from highly trained and low pressure merchant consultants, the "ball" began to roll! Apparently the idea is catching on - you can show your clients that you care about your community everytime you swipe their card or take a credit card order over the net.
